Information on how your personal data is processed, your rights, and how to submit a request to the data controller.

This Data Protection Notice explains, in our capacity as data controller, the purposes for which Hunter Web LLC processes your personal data, who it is shared with, how long it is retained, and how you can exercise your rights regarding it. This notice applies to all our users regardless of location; the specific procedures and rights available to our users in Turkey under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") are set out separately below.
The categories of personal data we process include identity and contact information (name, email address, phone number, postal address, and, where required, your official ID or passport number), financial data (payment information, billing address), and transaction security information (IP address, session logs, cookie identifiers).
Your personal data is processed to fulfill our contractual obligations, manage service operations, carry out billing and accounting processes, meet legal obligations, provide customer support, and maintain information security.
Your personal data may be shared with public authorities where legally required, with our business partners and suppliers (infrastructure, payment systems, our domain registrar, email security services), and with independent auditors as part of audit processes. Because Hunter Web LLC is organized in the United States and our infrastructure providers operate data centers in different countries, your data may be transferred outside your own country; transfers from Turkey are carried out in line with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK, and transfers from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your personal data is retained for the duration of our service relationship and thereafter for the statutory retention periods required under applicable law. Once the legal retention period has ended, the data is securely deleted or anonymized.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict the processing of, port, and object to the processing of your personal data (see the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA sections of our Privacy Policy for details). If you are receiving services from Turkey, under Article 11 of KVKK you have the following rights:
To exercise your rights, you can contact our support team. Applicants in Turkey may also submit a request in writing by registered mail or in person to our company address, by sending an e-mail from their registered address to kvkk@hunterweb.com.tr, or via Registered Electronic Mail (KEP).
Requests submitted under KVKK must clearly state your name, surname, signature, ID or passport number, notification address, e-mail address, and the subject of your request.
Requests under KVKK are concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days, depending on the nature of the request; requests under the GDPR are generally answered within 1 month, and requests under the CCPA/CPRA within 45 days. If the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff set by the relevant authority.
For requests submitted from Turkey, if your request is rejected, the response is found inadequate, or no response is provided within the time limit, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board within 30 (thirty) days of receiving the response and in any event within 60 (sixty) days of your application.
Hunter Web LLC reserves the right to request additional information and documents in order to verify that the request belongs to you. Requests for which identity cannot be verified cannot be processed.
